Height for all classes is measured at the shoulder. A good rule of thumb for remembering classes is by thinking "What's the smallest thing this dragon could stand on?" While this doesn't exactly work for messenger or civilian classes, it's better for the larger ones such as moon walkers, cosmic systems, and cosmic galaxies. A dragon a mile tall wouldn't be capable of standing up on earth due to gravity.
